A bit of an unusual message for me.

The reality of some shows.

I am sat here at an event, with the most beautiful art. The artists are wonderful, talented and ready to show their artwork.

The only thing missing.... people. It has been ever so quiet and I have barely made my entrance fee.

Us creatives are fiercely trying to keep our love going and our passion for the art world alive.

Our traditional crafts need protecting.

It takes so much work to prepare for a event, the days and months in the lead up. Not to mention the confidence it takes to put yourself out there and the organisation of the event (normally organised by volunteers) .

We have so many new artists here taking the plunge to show their work to the world - Its so saddening to see new and seasoned artists become deflated.

But thats just how it goes sometimes.

So if you see anyone being brave and letting the world see their artwork - press that FREE little like button or consider buying their card instead of one from Tesco.

You will make their day and they will probably have a happy dance !

Next weekend is @westbristolarts - I am at Bristol Grammar School with bells on ! Come see me !

I have chocolate 🍫

Good Things Are on the Way

Painted after a thoughtful walk near @corshamlife , recognising thw stillness and the beauty all around. A reminder that, even if it feels tricky, pause... observe. These hard feelings don't last.

Finished in a beautiful deep edge tray frame.
