The beautiful cooking Garden at @winterbournemedie

The beautiful cooking Garden at @winterbournemedievalbarn where I will be exhibiting in September. They have a beautiful spread of meadow flowers and I particularly liked them in contrast to the barns old wall!

I'm trying to be a little more active with looking after the insects and bugs this year. We also have 2 happy free range chickens who are constantly eyeing up the bugs for their dinner so needed to put a few dens for the bugs in place!! I'm hoping the multiply bug hotels we now have will help a little 🤞

It's all about the waves at the moment. Being in isolation has really made me appreciate my love for painting and all the joys it gives me.

I haven't put any conditions or restrictions on my art path the last few months and it's having some magical affects. Instead, I am simply vowing to continue painting, regardless of the results. To be brave, grateful, curios and willing to make any alterations in my day to make arrangements so I can paint every day. Even if only for 10 minutes.

I have realised now that success to me, is my commitment to a creative life whatever happens.

Do these words resignate with you?

Once a week I pick out a quote from my inspiration jar that my wonderful friend gifted me. I will post these more regularly again.

Some speak to me more that others, others I have really strong feelings towards chucking them in the bin as I don't agree with them - others are messages I absolutely needed to hear bringing me strength and love.
