Summers Day, Tyndale Monument, Cotswolds – original

These ditches and hedgerows surrounding Tyndale Monument, provide habitats for frogs, newts, toads and reptiles. Over 30 species nest in hedgerows feeding of the food found in surrounding fields and meadows. In areas where woods are scarce, many species of birds depend on the hedgerows for their survival. 1000 seeds from 18 native wildflower seeds were planted to help restore some of the lost meadows of Britain as part of this paintings journey.
