Today I was very lucky to be allowed to paint at A

Today I was very lucky to be allowed to paint at Algars Manor as it opened today as part of the wonderful @ngs_bristol_s_glos_somerset National Garden Scheme Open Garden. A truly stunning garden owned by the friendliest of people.

Now, one of the troubles of me painting on site like this is you meet the most wonderful people and you know I just love to natter! You are all just glorious. So today after 2 hours in I realised I didn't have much on the canvas, so after a quick half an hour of blocking in the essence of what I wanted to capture, I have bought it home to finish.

The garden is OPEN again at the end of the month where I will be finishing the painting I started today. So do come and say hi! ❤️

Today I visited the wonderful @room212gallery to d

Today I visited the wonderful @room212gallery to drop off some certificates of authenticity. While I was there I met 2 of the lovely artists who exhibit there. Really nice to chat to them at a distance ❤️, talk art techniques and just to get to know them a bit better.

It made me realise how much I have cherished getting to know so many artists through social media and it will be that much more special when we can meet each other over a cup of tea and cake in person!

Planning. What my mornings look like. I go into m

Planning.

What my mornings look like. I go into my studio and see how my current painting looks, how the colours have turned out or dried and what it looks like in new light. Followed by stretching/yoga/pilattes and affirmation/meditation time. Then it's a bit of spa music while reading some pages of my book and taking notes. I'm trying hard to keep this routine as it sets me up for the day perfectly and with intention.

Today I had a meeting and it's fantastic news so I will be doing a post soon to reveal all ❤️
